Similarly, the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) aims to empower women in engineering and technology, and recognizes academic excellence alongside leadership and advocacy.
If you are interested in joining an honor society, it is important to consider both your academic achievements and your commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in your field. While Eta Kappa Nu may be a prestigious society, it is not the only option. By joining a society that values both academic excellence and inclusivity, you can help to create a more equitable and just future for all engineers.
