Hello! My name is Aniya Wilson. I am 18 years old and I am from Newark, Delaware. During the Spring of 2020, I have obtained my diploma from my high school St. Georges Tech located in Middletown, Delaware. Throughout the four years that I have attended St. Georges, I have been a part of a technical career class called Health Information Technology and it was a 3 credited class that I had since my sophomore year in 2017. I was also a part of the varsity cheerleading team since my freshman year in 2016. This year was most important to me because it was my senior year and I had the opportunity to obtain a captain position for both the fall and winter seasons.

During the Fall of 2020, I will be attending Morgan State University located in Baltimore, Maryland majoring in Mathematics in their department of Mathematics and Actuarial Science. Throughout my time being at MSU, I will be working towards earning my Bachelor’s degree furthering my education and future career of becoming an Actuary. This scholarship will help me and my educational experience because it would add on to my financial need towards my tuition at MSU. Thus being important to me because then I will be able to gain all the knowledge and connections that I can to get where I want to be in life.
