Jordan Carpenter, Member Spotlight Scholarship, Mississippi State University

Man and Woman Holding Notebooks While Sitting on Grass

My name is Jordan Carpenter and I am a sophomore at Mississippi State University. I am an art major and I plan to pursue graphic design or photography as my concentration upon my portfolio review this fall. During my freshman year, I was a part of the Day One Leadership program and I have become a frequent volunteer worker at the Salvation Army food pantry. I am a member of my school’s premiere a cappella group, The TrebullDawgs, and I have recently been elected the Public Relations officer for this upcoming year!

I am so grateful for being selected as the recipient of the Honor Society’s Member Spotlight Scholarship, and I am so proud that I get to call myself a member of this wonderful organization. This scholarship is aiding me to continue being successful in my work and is helping me have the opportunity to complete a four-year college degree! I want to thank the Honor Society for selecting me for this scholarship and allowing me to continue my creative path and giving me the chance to expand in my education!
