My name is Mary Kisor. I am starting my senior year this fall at Missouri State University. I have a loving, supporting husband and three beautiful girls. My girls are Amanda, 25, a student at Iowa University, Rachyl, 10, an upcoming soccer star, and Emily, 8, a fantastic cheerleader and softball player. 

I have had a lot of obstacles come my way and have learned how to overcome the barriers. I am thankful for this scholarship as it will help finance my senior year of school and lower the amount of loans I will have to take. I am a psychology major and have a goal to attend law school upon graduation. 

Besides the Honor Society, I am involved in helping with the local food banks and coat drive in my community. I also organize an annual food drive yard sale that was my daughter’s idea. My life is a very busy one and I am enjoying every day.
